Mash the gas pedal all the way
into the kick-down area. The transmission will automatically drop
three or four gears!!

Sometimes,
when in Manual Mode, downshifting a gear to
accelerate faster seems to cause some hesitation (lack of acceleration)
for a second or two. How can this be avoided?

Push on the gas pedal before
downshifting. This gives the transmission time to prepare a lower gear.
